Archangels Catholic High School (ACHS) is a central Catholic high school serving the Parish of God Family in Platte County, Nebraska. Our mission is to empower students to lead lives of purpose and service by growing minds in knowledge and expanding hearts in the Catholic faith.  We are seeking a passionate and faith-driven educator to teach English Language Arts at the middle and/or high school level. The ideal candidate will foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking while integrating Catholic values and a Christian worldview into the classroom culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans in literature, writing, and grammar that align with educational standards.
• Model and share the Catholic faith, incorporating its tenets into the curriculum and daily interactions.
• Use student assessments and data to inform instruction, provide meaningful feedback, and track academic progress.
• Maintain a respectful and organized learning environment that promotes student success and creativity.
• Opportunities for coaching or leading student activities are available for interested candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid Nebraska teaching certificate with the appropriate English endorsement.
• Model and share the Catholic faith, incorporating its tenets into the curriculum and daily interactions.
• Completion of Safe Environment training/certification is required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management abilities.
