What You’ll Do

Academic Success Advocate

  • Monitor standardized test performance and help drive school-wide improvement

  • Equip students with ACT prep tools and resources

Social-Emotional Champion

  • Provide one-on-one counseling and create a safe, supportive environment for all students
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration to address behavioral and wellness concerns
  • Develop and implement interventions to support students’ emotional needs

Future-Planning Partner

  • Help students explore post-secondary paths—from college and careers to military and vocational options
  • Host college and career readiness meetings for freshmen through seniors
  • Guide students through college applications, career planning, and transition processes

Financial Aid Navigator

  • Connect students and families with scholarships, grants, and tuition assistance programs

Requirements

Food Service Director

St. Francis and Archangels are seeking a motivated Food Service Director to oversee and manage the daily operations of our school lunch program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing nutritious meals to students, experience in managing a team, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. As the Food Service Director, you will oversee the food service staff, ensure that food safety, quality, and service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Food Service staff, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school nutrition program, including meal preparation, inventory management, and food distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards, including overseeing staff training and maintaining food safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, daily meal counts, and program performance.

Qualifications:

  • ServSafe certification required.
  • Previous experience in school nutrition, food service, or a similar role is preferred.  
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to food service operations.

Food Service - Cook

Job Description:

  • Prepare and serve meals according to recipes and program guidelines.
  • Assist in food production records and maintain high standards of food sanitation.
  • Support the cafeteria team by helping with food prep, cooking, and cleaning tasks.
  • Safely operate large kitchen equipment, or be willing to learn.
