Food Service - Cook

Humphrey Saint Francis Elementary and Archangels High School are seeking to hire a dedicated cook to join our school lunch program team. This position offers the potential for advancement to head cook.

Job Description:

  • Prepare and serve meals according to recipes and program guidelines.
  • Assist in food production records and maintain high standards of food sanitation.
  • Support the cafeteria team by helping with food prep, cooking, and cleaning tasks.
  • Safely operate large kitchen equipment, or be willing to learn.
  • Provide positive role modeling by interacting appropriately with students and staff, demonstrating employability, social, and life skills.
  • Participate in annual continuing education/training programs to improve skills.

Work Environment: Join a positive and inviting team environment that promotes a healthy lifestyle by preparing nutritious meals for students.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
  • Follows the school year calendar.
